The center of Spa

The Casino de Spa is located in the centre of Spa and is the oldest casino in the world. There is a poker room, English roulette, blackjack, a brasserie. A great cocktail to go wild for an evening - from 21 years old.

Every Tuesday from 07:00 to 13:00 there is the weekly market of Spa on the Place Royale, where you can also find the artisanal producers of the region.

Broncante Hebdamodaire market is every Sunday morning from 07:00 to 14:00 at the Galerie Leopold II, Parc de Sept Heures.

You can also visit the Marché de Bouche en du terroir (gastronomy and regional products) twelve times a year, which takes place from 08:00 to 17:00.

Spa is a city with a rich heritage and an exciting cultural life. Museums, springs and art galleries. The Peter-de-Grote spring is a magnificent building in which the main source of Spa gushes forth. The Spa Tourist Office is also housed in this building. The Prince-de-Condé spring is a nearby spring in a building where you can also visit art exhibitions from Thursday to Sunday.

For a cultural outing during your holiday in Spa, Les Musées de la Ville d'eaux are a must. You can wander through the Royal Villa Marie-Henriette and its parks and visit the Horse Museum, which is housed in the stables.

Sports and adventure in Spa

Spa Reine Trimbaan is a fun fitness trail in the woods north of Spa and is a good choice for the more athletic souls, or to spend time with the kids.

You can also go treasure hunting by downloading the Totemus application. The platform offers a whole range of free treasure hunts in the four corners of Wallonia, including one in Spa that you can visit while solving the riddles. It is 4.6km long and takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes.

The Ardennes are ideal for exploring the area by bike or mountain bike. Spa Tourisme offers a range of signposted cycle routes with various levels of difficulty. To rent a mountain bike, electric mountain bike or electric scooter, SpaBikes is the place to go.

Parc Naturel des Sources is a nature reserve known for its exceptional flora and fauna. The Domaine de Berinzenne has a lookout tower where you have a great panoramic view over the Fagne de Malchamps peat area. For lazing around by the water or for those who like to go fishing, the Parc de Sept Heures is the perfect destination. You can also go for a walk and children can have fun in the playground.

Winter sports in Ardennes

Winter sports enthusiasts who love snowy slopes in the middle of the forests should definitely go cross-country skiing at the Spa Ski Club on the Thier des Rexhons slope. There are 2 sledges in the barn. But did you know you can also ski there? The Thier de Rexhons ski slope in Spa is 600m (Route de Berinzenne, Spa) and the Val de Wanne ski slopes in Trois-Points is 1km (Aisomont 70, Trois-Points).
